Sally Bomprezzi is currently serving her first term in office as a Council Member. Council Members serve four year terms. Sally was elected to the City Council 2006. The Mayor’s position is rotated annually amongst the Council Members. Sally served as Mayor in 2008.
Council Members also serve as Board Members of the Madera Redevelopment Agency and Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Madera.
Sally holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Management and Organizational Development from Fresno Pacific University; a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting and Financial Management from DeVry University; and a Graduate Certificate in Financial Analysis from DeVry University.
Sally has worked for various financial institutions in different capacities; most recently as the Vice President/Branch Manager of County Bank in Madera, California from 2006-2009. Prior employment history:

Division Controller of Waste Connections, Inc. (1999-2005)

Sally has been a resident of Madera since 1958. She is married to Jim Bomprezzi. They have two children, Angela and Anthony, and two grandchildren Taylor and Olivia.
In addition to their regular duties as members of the City Council, the Redevelopment Agency, and the Housing Authority, Council Members are appointed to serve on other boards as representatives of the City Council. They are also active in community organizations.
